Audi e-tron quattro Features

 Audi e-tron quattro Powertrain

Electrifying the Next Generation

The Audi e-tron quattro concept uses the power of three electric motors along with a large 95 kWh capacity lithium-ion battery. Thanks to this massive battery capacity, the e-tron quattro is expected to deliver a maximum range of up to 310 miles*. Together, this sophisticated system works in tandem to produce an impressive total system output of 320 kW. While pushing the limits of efficiency, the e-tron quattro delivers the performance of a sports car thanks to its ability to rocket from 0 to 60 in just 4.6 seconds on its way to a top speed of 130.5 MPH. The Torque Control Manager actively distributes the power between the rear wheels as necessary for maximum dynamics and stability. Since the battery is cleverly integrated into the floor of the vehicle, the e-tron quattro delivers a balanced axle load distribution and a low center of gravity - necessary to create its dynamic handling

Audi e-tron quattro Charge Port

Smart Charging and Aerodynamics

On the Audi e-tron quattro, the Combined Charging System (CCS) enables charging with DC or AC electrical current. Spend just a half an hour at a 150 kWh rapid charging column to receive a 250-mile range. The e-tron quattro is also anticipated to debut with Audi Wireless Charging technology for contactless inductive charging, to make the charging process nearly effortless. Giving it an unmistakable appearance, the e-tron quattro sports a coupe-like silhouette with the extremely flat greenhouse that tapers strongly toward the rear. While stylish, this design contributes towards creating the model's incredible efficiency. Achieving a new benchmark in the SUV segment, the e-tron quattro has a drag coefficient of 0.25 which is an improvement on the typical 0.30 figures for similarly-sized vehicles.

Audi e-tron quattro Lighting Innovations

Advanced Lighting Innovations

Helping you make a memorable entrance, the front of the Audi e-tron quattro features the iconic Audi Singleframe grille integrated with five horizontal aluminum slats to help incorporate the OLED (organic light emitting diode) elements of the vehicle's light signature. Contained in the bottom section is an e-tron logo that lights up briefly to greet the driver and passengers as they enter along with a cleverly hidden compact sensor rack that includes most of the sensors for the driver assistance systems. Matrix laser technology, the next step in the development of automotive lighting technology, is used in all of the main lighting functions of the e-tron quattro. Cameras also replace the conventional exterior mirrors - adding an additional contribution to the excellent aerodynamics and also as an indication of the future of driving.
