What the Critics Say
"The Q5 has brisk acceleration from a standstill, and you'll have no problem getting it up to highway and passing speeds. Both transmissions are smooth, but the seven-speed dual-clutch has particularly fast shifts that make for a more engaging drive." - U.S. News & World Report
"The Audi Q5 has been among the most popular compact luxury crossover SUVs for years, and with good reason. It combines a spacious, comfortable and hushed cabin with Audi's traditionally strong cabin quality and in-dash smarts." - Roadshow by CNET
What's New for 2026
The Q5 got a complete redesign last year, so changes for 2026 have been minor. The first is a slightly revised steering wheel that has physical scroll wheels replacing last year’s touch controls. This makes it easier to operate them without taking your eyes off the road. The second change has been to reorganize the MMI menus to make for more intuitive navigation.
