What's New for 2026

The Q5 got a complete redesign last year, so changes for 2026 have been minor. The first is a slightly revised steering wheel that has physical scroll wheels replacing last year’s touch controls. This makes it easier to operate them without taking your eyes off the road. The second change has been to reorganize the MMI menus to make for more intuitive navigation.

This potent engine has the ability to rocket from 0 to 60 MPH in a blistering 5.8 seconds which helps inject a dose of adrenaline to your commute. Legendary quattro® all-wheel drive optimizes performance and efficiency by powering the front wheels as often as possible while retaining the ability to direct power and grip to the tires that need it most. Four driver-selectable modes in Audi drive select adjust your vehicle's steering, transmission shifts and throttle response, allowing you to customize the drive to your liking and take advantage of the road. Despite its sporty character, the Q5 still has the ability to tow up to 4,400 pounds when equipped with an available trailer hitch.

Advanced Driver-Assistive Safety

The Audi suite of advanced driver assistance technologies is the extra set of eyes you need to help alert you of an unpredictable situation. The Q5 can detect stationary vehicles and pedestrians at speeds of up to 52 MPH, warn you of an imminent collision, and initiate emergency braking. Rear cross traffic assist uses radar sensors and optical warnings to help alert you of approaching vehicles and prompt when to stop the vehicle. Included on the Prestige trim level, Audi park steering assist can measure gaps and automatically steer into them. To help warn you and the front passenger of vehicles or cyclists approaching from behind, Vehicle exit assist uses illuminated LED lights as a notification before opening the front doors. Collectively, these available technologies can initiate emergency measures like partial closing of the sunroof and side windows while pretensioning the front safety belts to brace you in the event of an inevitable collision.
