About The Audi Q7

2027 marks a new generation of the Q7, and there are improvements everywhere you look. The Audi Q7 is a family-friendly, three-row SUV that doesn’t ask you to compromise luxury, good looks, or even performance in pursuit of practicality. It comes with a powerful V6, good for quick acceleration and towing alike, and there’s room inside for the whole family and also their luggage. The interior looks as good as the exterior and is comfortable for short trips to the store or long road trips. Advanced technology has made every detail of the Q7 better, like better traction from the all-wheel drive system and better cabin lighting. Even the turn signals on the Q7 are technologically advanced beyond anything else on the road. The Q7 is your next no-compromise family vehicle.

What’s New For 2027

In short, everything is new for 2027. The new standard engine is much more powerful, and there’s a new six-seat configuration option. Though the Q7 will no longer be the biggest Audi SUV with the debut of the new Q9 model, it’s clear that Audi is still giving it the flagship treatment, sharing advanced features like the Digital Matrix headlights with its upcoming bigger stablemate.

Audi Q7 Features

Audi Q7

Versatile Performance

Most of the Q7’s competitors are offered with a V6, but come with a four-cylinder engine as standard. The Q7 sets itself apart by coming with the V6 as standard, and it’s quite a powerful V6 at that. The 2.9-liter twin-turbo engine produces 429 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque, enough for a sportscar-like 0-60 time of just 4.8 seconds. The engine is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission as well as Audi’s famous quattro permanent all-wheel drive system. This system has a newly redesigned limited-slip center differential with preload, giving you improved traction and handling responsiveness. All of this also allows for an exceptionally high towing capacity, 7,700 pounds, which is well above the average for this segment. The Q7 comes with a sophisticated suspension setup that provides excellent comfort and handling, but there is also adaptive air suspension available for added comfort and responsiveness.

Audi Q7 Interior

Luxury Interior

The Q7 features a large interior, with up to 78.1 cubic feet of cargo space. The standard configuration seats seven, but if you’re looking for extra second-row comfort, there is a six-seat configuration available that trades the bench for a pair of captains’ chairs. High-quality materials are offered in a variety of colors, including leather seat upholstery and open-pore wood trim. Doors can be opened and closed automatically, either from one of the several points inside the vehicle or via the app. There is an available passenger-side touchscreen display, so the passenger can stay entertained or pick out the music while the driver focuses on the road. Speaking of music, the Q7 is available with a stereo that will satisfy even the most demanding of audiophiles. This is a 1,360-watt, 22-speaker 4D system made by Bang & Olufsen, which is impressive already, but it also comes with Fraunhofer Symphoria® technology for adaptive sound distribution, making every listening experience the best it can be.

Audi Q7 Advanced Turn Signals

Advanced Technology

Audi has always been a technological pioneer, and this has been one of the biggest things that has set it apart from the competition. For example, the Q7 has an available electrochromic panoramic sunroof, one that can switch from transparent to opaque with the touch of a button. This is something that can be found in other luxury vehicles, but in the Q7, it also opens, which you don’t get with competitors. The taillights on the Q7 are OLED panels with 436 individual segments that you can customize with your preferred design. The Digital Matrix headlights are made of 25,600 individually controllable LEDs that adapt to conditions to give you maximum illumination without blinding other drivers. Even the turn signals are advanced in the Q7, projecting arrows onto the road to the sides of your vehicle when activated for a bit of extra visibility. And for tight parking situations, the Q7 has available Remote Park Assist Pro, which allows the vehicle to park itself, even if you aren’t in it.
