Performance

Both the Q3 and Q5 come with a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine, a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, and quattro® all-wheel drive, but there are still important differences between the two drivetrains. The engine in the Q3 produces 255 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque, While the bigger Q5 has an engine tuned to make 268 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. The Q3 is a few hundred pounds lighter, but the Q5 has more power, so it goes from 0 to 60 in 5.8 seconds, compared to 5.5 seconds for the Q3. The Q5 is also available in a high performance version, the SQ5. This V6-powered version comes with 362 horsepower, 406 lb-ft of torque, and will hit 60 mph in 4.6 seconds.
